BRANDYWINE, Md. (AP) - Maryland State Police say 11 people are injured after a multi-car crash and one vehicle fire on Crain Highway in Prince George's County.
Prince George's County fire department spokesman Mark Brady tells The Washington Post one victim has life-threatening injuries. Two others are in trauma care.
Police say six cars were involved in the crash just after 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Brandywine. The southbound lanes of Route 301 were still closed two hours after the crash.
Brady says the rescue effort involved three fire engines, a rescue engine, five ambulance, three medic units and at least one helicopter. -- Information from: The Washington Post, http://www.washingtonpost.com
